PRINCIPLES FOR TAPPING IN

1. Your Greatest Enemy Is Self

YOUR GREATEST ENEMY IS TRUSTING IN SELF!
OPPOSITE OF GOD IS SELF
OPPOSITE OF HEAVEN IS SELF
A. GEN 2:16-17   Don’t eat of the knowledge of good and evil
Genesis 2:16–17 NIV
And the Lord God commanded the man, “You are free to eat from any tree in the garden; but you must not eat from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, for when you eat from it you will certainly die.”
B. Phil 3:7-9 Be found in him not having a righteousness that comes from the law...
Philippians 3:7–9 NIV
But whatever were gains to me I now consider loss for the sake of Christ. What is more, I consider everything a loss because of the surpassing worth of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord, for whose sake I have lost all things. I consider them garbage, that I may gain Christ and be found in him, not having a righteousness of my own that comes from the law, but that which is through faith in Christ—the righteousness that comes from God on the basis of faith.

2. Tapping In Requires Faith

OPPOSITE OF GOD IS SELF
OPPOSITE OF HEAVEN IS SELF
MUST TRUST GOD INSTEAD OF SELF
A. Heb 11:6 Without faith no one can please God.
Hebrews 11:6 NIV
And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him.
B. Heb 3:12 See to it brothers that none of you has sinful, unbelieving heart
Hebrews 3:12 NIV
See to it, brothers and sisters, that none of you has a sinful, unbelieving heart that turns away from the living God.
UNBELIEF IS THE GREATEST OF ALL SINS… THEREFORE, TRUSTING IN SELF IS ALSO THE GREATEST OF ALL SINS...
C. Heb 3:18-19 they were not allowed to enter and have God’s rest, because they did not believe.
Hebrews 3:18–19 NIV
And to whom did God swear that they would never enter his rest if not to those who disobeyed? So we see that they were not able to enter, because of their unbelief.

3. Tapping In Requires All

OPPOSITE OF TRUSTING IN SELF.....COMPLETE TRUST IN GOD IS YOUR GREATEST ASSET..
A. Jer 29:13 You will seek me and you will find me after that, you have sought for me with all
Jeremiah 29:13 NIV
You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart.
...With all of your heart is when your heart is pure before God.
B. 1Cor 9:24-27 Run in such a way as to get the prize
1 Corinthians 9:24–27 NIV
Do you not know that in a race all the runners run, but only one gets the prize? Run in such a way as to get the prize. Everyone who competes in the games goes into strict training. They do it to get a crown that will not last, but we do it to get a crown that will last forever. Therefore I do not run like someone running aimlessly; I do not fight like a boxer beating the air. No, I strike a blow to my body and make it my slave so that after I have preached to others, I myself will not be disqualified for the prize.
