In 2005, Newsweek and Beliefnet asked Americans this question: "Do you believe that God created the universe?" Eighty percent of those responding said the universe was created by God. That's good news! And it's pretty amazing that after all of the money and effort spent on teaching evolution, 80% of people still believe that God created the world. Carlson and Decker summed up the false teachings of evolution this way: "In kindergarten we are taught that a frog turning into a prince is a fairy tale. When we get to college, we're taught that a frog turning into a prince is science."
The creation story is about more than telling the story of creation
The first 3 chapters of Genesis tell us:

About relationships
Today I would like to talk about what teach us about relationships
Our relationship with God
We are created in the IMAGE OF GOD

A little girl asked her mother, "How did the human race start?" The mother answered, "God made Adam and Eve and they had children, and so all mankind was made." Two days later, the girl asked her father the same question. The father answered, "Many years ago, there were monkeys from which the human race evolved." The confused girl returned to her mother and said, "Mom, how is it possible that you told me the human race was created by God, and Dad said they developed from monkeys?" The mother answered, "Well, dear, it is very simple. I told you about my side of the family and your father told you about his."
We are filled with the BREATH OF GOD
After church, Johnny tells his parents he has to go and talk to the minister right away. They agree and the pastor greets the family. "Pastor," Johnny says, "I heard you say today that our bodies came from the dust & when we die our bodies go back to dust.” "Yes, I’m glad you were listening. Why do you ask?" Johnny says, "Well you better come over to our house right away and look under my bed ’cause there’s someone either comin’ or goin’!"
It is GOD who provides what we need
Abundance isn't God's provision for me to live in luxury, but his provision for me to help others live.
Our relationship with the world around us
RADAH- to rule in terms of manage, not trample
There is balance and harmony in the world.
We are not to use the world, but steward it
Our Relationship to one another
We are all dust
We all need God…whether we know it or not.
