Opening Comments
Welcome.
We have a modified service tonight.
It is an ordination service for Daniel Anderson.
Please be in prayer for Daniel and Jessica.
Scripture Reading and Description
In the BIBLE the word ORDAIN means to set in place, to put in place for reason a purpose.
Hence an ordination service is the Church, symbolically putting a person in place to serve the LORD in full-time service.
Understand, that GOD is the one that puts a person in place, we as the church are just publicly recognizing what GOD has already done.
Acts 13
In just a moment, we will ask Daniel and Jessica up - both because service for GOD is joint effort between husband and wife.
They will be seated in front.
Men will come and lay hands on Daniel and pray for him.
Our deacon chairman, Mike Ballard will start, the rest of the ordination council, then His Dad.
After that, Any men of the church that are members in good standing are welcome to come and pray over him as well.
While this is taking place, please be praying silently in your seat.
