God meets at Mt Sinai, God speaks the10 commandments and the law, In the middle Ex 20:19 
The Israelites don't want God to speak to them, God tells them No other Gods- how to build him an altar,
Moses Goes back down to tell the people what God said and they agree.
God summon's the elders and they go part way up.
Moses writes it all down and makes an altar with blood and confirms God's covenant with Israel reads covenant to the people and they agree
They elders and moses see God on pavement of sapphire, they saw God and didn't die, they ate and drank, Moses goes up and God writes the law on tablets, God gives the instructions for the tabernacle and priest
