The way of Salvation (not)

Satan is very subtle with his lies
there are false gospels everywhere
well intentioned people have changed the way of salvation
there are millions of people in this world thinking they are going to heaven
at the great white throne judgement Jesus will say “depart from me, I never Knew you”
some of these ways we ourselves have used
Make a commitment to follow Jesus
John 6:26 NKJV
Jesus answered them and said, “Most assuredly, I say to you, you seek Me, not because you saw the signs, but because you ate of the loaves and were filled.
the thief on the cross follow —the grave
Judas was a follower of Jesus
Make a commitment to be a disciple
Judas again was a disciple
Repentance
Turn away from your sins
be sorry for your sins
Making Jesus Lord
Matthew 7:21 NKJV
“Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven.
Matthew 7:22 NKJV
Many will say to Me in that day, ‘Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name, cast out demons in Your name, and done many wonders in Your name?’
Get right with God
Give your heart to Jesus
Ask Jesus to come into your heart
Confess your sins to God
Call upon the name of the Lord
make a decision to follow Jesus
Bow your head and say after me

Believe And...

John 6:40 NKJV
And this is the will of Him who sent Me, that everyone who sees the Son and believes in Him may have everlasting life; and I will raise him up at the last day.”
Believe and nothing
John 6:47 NKJV
Most assuredly, I say to you, he who believes in Me has everlasting life.

What about repentance?
Mark 1:15 NKJV
and saying, “The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand. Repent, and believe in the gospel.”
Acts 2:38 NKJV
Then Peter said to them, “Repent, and let every one of you be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins; and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.
Repentance means a changing of mind from self to Christ Old religious system to Jesus
John 16:9 AV
Of sin, because they believe not on me;
John 3:16 NKJV
For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.
There was no prayer first
while he was still speaking they believed

So what is the Gospel

1 Thessalonians 4:13–14 NKJV
But I do not want you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning those who have fallen asleep, lest you sorrow as others who have no hope. For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so God will bring with Him those who sleep in Jesus.
1 thes
The simple gospel is believe on the Lord Jesus Christ
Nothing more
1 Corinthians 15:1–2 NKJV
Moreover, brethren, I declare to you the gospel which I preached to you, which also you received and in which you stand, by which also you are saved, if you hold fast that word which I preached to you—unless you believed in vain.
1 Corinthians 15:1 NKJV
Moreover, brethren, I declare to you the gospel which I preached to you, which also you received and in which you stand,
The sin issue the Holy Spirit will take care of
Sanctification
Jesus coming into our heart is a result of regeneration
We become a new creation
there is a miracle that happens to us
Discipleship we will crave
Reading Gods word we will want to do

So what about the prayer?

Isn’t the prayer works?
the prayer has made millions of people extra lost
they've said the prayer and now think they're saved and wont listen to the truth
there saved and living the lifestyle they choose
1 cor 15
3000 initially were saved without the prayer
Cornelius and family were saved before Peter was done talking
Is the prayer necessary?
I now understand that the God of the Bible is the one True God. He is perfect and holy. Through the teaching of the Bible I now see myself much differently than I previously did. I now realize that I was born with a sinful nature, that I have disobeyed God continually, and that my sin has deeply grieved God who made me and loves me. I know that my sin has separated me from God and that the just punishment for my sin is eternal separation from Him in a literal place of torment that the Bible calls Hell. I understand that the death and resurrection of God’s Son Jesus Christ is the only hope for me to be forgiven, for me to escape eternal punishment for my sins, and for me to receive God’s gift of eternal life. I am now trusting Jesus Christ and His death on the cross, and no one or nothing else, as the only sufficient remedy for my sin problem and its dreadful consequences.
