CIT: Its not about what you have but about what you do with what you have been given.
CIS: Every day might not be the best day ever but God blesses the one how stays the course.
SO: Kids will understand that Gods blessing are not the same for every person and to check themselves each day.
SM - If you could build a house what would it look like? How much money would you have if you could just say the word? How important are things to God?
We – like stuff. I have a lot of things I want like a boat. Like a nintendo switch. A really fast car! But does stuff make me Happy?
T.S. - Does God take a way the stuff I want? God wants to bless you and give you nice things in life but that isn’t his main goal for us...
Bible -
Believers who are poor have something to boast about, for God has honored them. And those who are rich should boast that God has humbled them. They will fade away like a little flower in the field. The hot sun rises and the grass withers; the little flower droops and falls, and its beauty fades away. In the same way, the rich will fade away with all of their achievements.
God blesses those who patiently endure testing and temptation. Afterward they will receive the crown of life that God has promised to those who love him.
You – Some of us have more than others but we both have something to thank God for with whatever we have been given.
Interesting part what happens to those who spend all their time worried about their stuff and whats mine. God gives it to them but they miss out on the greatest gift of all heaven.
ILL. Flowers...
We need to make sure our lives are lining up with who God has created us to be. We do this with all the confidence in the world because we are asking the creator of our world.
Those that doubt have friends that influence them to make bad choices when God find someone that always looks to God for every choice that is who God will give wisdom to.
We – might have a lot more than others or you might not have as much as the person setting next to you. We both have important parts and can learn so really important things about being a follower of Jesus.
PRAY - Lord let me learn to be thankful and not have pride in what I have or don’t have but find my hope in you!
