He was Present in Heaven
Thou art the anointed cherub that covereth; and I have set thee so: thou wast upon the holy mountain of God; thou hast walked up and down in the midst of the stones of fire.
“And there was war in heaven: Michael and his angels fought against the dragon; and the dragon fought and his angels, And prevailed not; neither was their place found any more in heaven. And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.”
He was Perfect
Thou wast perfect in thy ways from the day that thou wast created, till iniquity was found in thee.
He was Prideful
"Thou hast sinned: therefore I will cast thee as profane out of the mountain of God"
For thou hast said in thine heart, I will ascend into heaven,
I will exalt my throne above the stars of God:
I will sit also upon the mount of the congregation, in the sides of the north:
14 I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will be like the most High.
He was in a Prominent
How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning!
"Now there was a day when the sons of God came to present themselves before the LORD, and Satan came also among them."
He was Purged
And the third angel sounded, and there fell a great star from heaven, burning as it were a lamp,
He is Powerful
"Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in heavenlies."
"Be sober, be watchful: your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour: whom withstand steadfast in the faith"
Paul also refers to Satan as the "prince of the power of the air" (), and again as the "god of this age" ().
He is Persistent
"And theLord said, Simon, Simon, behold, Satan hath desired to have you, that he may sift you as wheat."
"And Satan answered the Lord, and said, Doth Job fear God for naught? Hast not thou made an hedge about him, and about his house, and about all that he hath on every side? Thou hast blessed the work of his hands, and his substance is increased in the land. But put forth thine hand now, and touch all that he hath, and he will curse thee to thy face. And the Lord said unto Satan, Behold, all that he hath is in thy power; only upon himself put not forth thine hand" ()
He is Promised
And the devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are, and shall be tormented day and night for ever and ever.
"Now is the judgment of this world, now shall the prince of this world be cast out" ().
He is Proficient
"Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in heavenlies."
He is a Planter
He answered and said unto them, He that soweth the good seed is the Son of man; 38 The field is the world; the good seed are the children of the kingdom; but the tares are the children of the wicked one; 39 The enemy that sowed them is the devil;
He is a Planner
According to Scripture, the supreme motive of Satan is his purpose to become like the Most High and, though that purpose was formed even before the age of man, it has been his constant actuating motive from that time until now.Chafer, Lewis.
