luke 81:1
There was a parable spoken by Christ to his disciple that highlighted one aspect of prayer.
Persistence.
There was a widow lady, that needed a judges help.
The judge did not fear anyone, and did what he thought best in any situation.
This widow, however, came to him day and night.
Finally - he said - I will help her because of her continual request - he answered her.
One of the keys to PRAYER is not to quit!
We should always pray and not lose heart.
More than ever before, we should be seeking GOD in prayer for our country and for our community.
That is what this day of prayer is about.
To remind us to keep on prayer all year!
