We think, if I just try hard enough, if I do well enough, if I just accomplish this or achieve that, then I will finally be satisfied.
And it never works.
Life and godliness come though knowing Jesus.
A part from God’s power, there is no Christian life.
When we feel lacking in our life we need to realize it’s not because we haven’t tapped into our inner power.
In fact we feel that way because we are trying to do something that we cannot do.
The key to living an empowered life is acknowledging that we don’t have what it takes.
Your time in the Bible is the primary means by which the Holy Spirit empowers you to live a holy life.
Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob all have similarities to their stories.
Exiled, Oppression, Deceit, Barreness, but also Blessed and Highly Favored.
