PERSPECTIVES THAT PRESERVE UNITY

Humility - not being arrogant, sense of one’s moral littleness.
Philippians 2:3–4 NASB95
Do nothing from selfishness or empty conceit, but with humility of mind regard one another as more important than yourselves; do not merely look out for your own personal interests, but also for the interests of others.
Gentleness - mildness, not weakness rather being under control.
The scripture says that Jesus was meek and lowly in heart. However drove the money changers out of the temple.
Patience - Ability to take a great deal of punishment from evil people or circumstances without losing one’s temper, without becoming irritated and angry, or without taking vengeance. It includes the capacity to bear pain or trials without complaint, the ability to forbear under severe provocation, and the self-control which keeps one from acting rashly even though suffering opposition or adversity.

1 Corinthians 13:4–7 NASB95
Love is patient, love is kind and is not jealous; love does not brag and is not arrogant, does not act unbecomingly; it does not seek its own, is not provoked, does not take into account a wrong suffered, does not rejoice in unrighteousness, but rejoices with the truth; bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.
1 Cor 1
1 Cor 13:4
1 Cor 13:
Being diligent - we have to endeavor or work at preserving the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace.
HAVING THESE ATTITUDES OR PERSPECTIVE ARE GOOD BUT WE ARE NOT TO COMPROMISE ON THE BASIS OF OUR UNITY.

THE FUNDAMENTAL BASE OF OUR UNITY

THE POWER OF ONE IS WHAT WE WANT TO KEEP IN MIND, KNOW THAT THERE IS........
ONE BODY - This is in reference to the universal church or body of believers and Jesus Christ is the Head.
Ephesians 1:22–23 NASB95
And He put all things in subjection under His feet, and gave Him as head over all things to the church, which is His body, the fullness of Him who fills all in all.
No distinction between the Jew and the Greek.
Romans 12:4
Romans 12:4–5 NASB95
For just as we have many members in one body and all the members do not have the same function, so we, who are many, are one body in Christ, and individually members one of another.
1 Corinthians 10:17 NASB95
Since there is one bread, we who are many are one body; for we all partake of the one bread.

ONE SPIRIT - This would be referring to the Holy Spirit of Promise
Ephesians 1:13–14 NASB95
In Him, you also, after listening to the message of truth, the gospel of your salvation—having also believed, you were sealed in Him with the Holy Spirit of promise, who is given as a pledge of our inheritance, with a view to the redemption of God’s own possession, to the praise of His glory.

eph 3:16
eph 3:
Romans 8:23–24 NASB95
And not only this, but also we ourselves, having the first fruits of the Spirit, even we ourselves groan within ourselves, waiting eagerly for our adoption as sons, the redemption of our body. For in hope we have been saved, but hope that is seen is not hope; for who hopes for what he already sees?
romans 8:23-
ONE LORD
1 Corinthians 8:5–6 NASB95
For even if there are so-called gods whether in heaven or on earth, as indeed there are many gods and many lords, yet for us there is but one God, the Father, from whom are all things and we exist for Him; and one Lord, Jesus Christ, by whom are all things, and we exist through Him.
ONE FAITH
Jude 3 NASB95
Beloved, while I was making every effort to write you about our common salvation, I felt the necessity to write to you appealing that you contend earnestly for the faith which was once for all handed down to the saints.
2 Timothy 1:13 NASB95
Retain the standard of sound words which you have heard from me, in the faith and love which are in Christ Jesus.
