It is Grand/Extravagant

What is the biggest love you have ever witnessed?
Love is sitting beside a hospital bed for days and weeks on end with a love one. No sleep. No food. Just love.
Love is accepting the broken, the dejected, the rejected, addict, the enemy with no thought of their past.
But it doesn’t hold a candle to the GRAND EXTRAVAGANT love of God!
Exodus 34:6–7 NASB95
6 Then the Lord passed by in front of him and proclaimed, “The Lord, the Lord God, compassionate and gracious, slow to anger, and abounding in lovingkindness and truth; 7 who keeps lovingkindness for thousands, who forgives iniquity, transgression and sin; yet He will by no means leave the guilty unpunished, visiting the iniquity of fathers on the children and on the grandchildren to the third and fourth generations.”
Nehemiah 9:17 NASB95
“They refused to listen, And did not remember Your wondrous deeds which You had performed among them; So they became stubborn and appointed a leader to return to their slavery in Egypt. But You are a God of forgiveness, Gracious and compassionate, Slow to anger and abounding in lovingkindness; And You did not forsake them.

God sets his love on the unlovely

Deuteronomy 7:7–8 NASB95
7 “The Lord did not set His love on you nor choose you because you were more in number than any of the peoples, for you were the fewest of all peoples, 8 but because the Lord loved you and kept the oath which He swore to your forefathers, the Lord brought you out by a mighty hand and redeemed you from the house of slavery, from the hand of Pharaoh king of Egypt.
