Fear the Lord in our behavior

It is a family hymn, -- a song for a marriage, or a birth, or for any day in which a happy household has met to praise the Lord. —Charles Spurgeon
Blessed = to be in a favorable position
The fear of the Lord governs our attitude: “Blessed is every one who fears the Lord”
Blessed = to be in a favorable position

Deuteronomy 4:40 NKJV
You shall therefore keep His statutes and His commandments which I command you today, that it may go well with you and with your children after you, and that you may prolong your days in the land which the Lord your God is giving you for all time.”

A confident promise: “When you eat”
A cooperating effort: “the labor of your hands,”
God doesn’t bless irreverence and God doesn’t bless laziness
God is the God of labourers. We are not to leave our worldly callings because the Lord has called us by grace: we are not promised a blessing upon romantic idleness or unreasonable dreaming, but upon hard work and honest industry. —Charles Spurgeon
