Introduced several years ago and continued at the request of churches across the Pacific region, Fellowship Sunday is a time for our churches to learn more about the greater family that we are a part of. Today, we receive a challenging message based on the Book for Acts, from our Regional Director, David Horita.

 Whitehorse Baptist Church "Fellowship Sunday 2018" "TIME TO GROW" BY DAVID HORITA (ACTS 1:6-11 & 2:42-27) STUDY QUESTIONS 1. Preparation a. Consider the process of gardening. What do plants need to grow? How do they produce fruit? How do they reproduce new plants? b. Now consider growth in the church and discuss the similarities. How does a church produce spiritually and reproduce numerically? 2. Examination a. Read Acts 1:6-11 together. b. Discuss the work of the Holy Spirit within church growth. What similarities and differences do we see in the Spirit's work today? c. Read Acts 2:42-47 together. d. Discuss the atmosphere described in Acts 2. Is this atmosphere possible in today's church? If so, how does it come about? 3. Reflection a. How is the Holy Spirit bringing growth to Mountainview Church? What evidence of the Spirit have you witnessed in the past year? b. How can Mountainview Church stay focused on producing fruit this year? c. How can Mountainview Church stay focused on reproducing disciples and churches over the next 5 years? 4. Implementation a. Spend some time specifically praying for new growth in (1) our city, (2) our region, (3) our nation and (4) the world. If you've been sharing the Gospel with specific people, spend some time praying for them as well.
