APPLYING ALL DILIGENCE TO YOUR FAITH

"knowledge" - Gk. epinosis - true knowledge. Our faith, our righteousness, our grace, our peace is found in the knowledge of Jesus. life and godliness (v.3) is found in the true knowledge of Jesus Christ which the apostles had.

they passed these precious and magnificent promises, so that we may become partakers of the divine nature and escape the corruption that is in the world by lust.

because of these promises precious and magnificent promises we need to apply all diligence to our faith (we may become - only if we follow the instruction book, it is up to us).

We have the privilege of partaking of the Divine Nature. Note: "may become" - you see it is up to you to accept, receive, and be obedient to become partakers in God's Divine nature

because we have this privilege granted to us we…we supply these Christian virtues to our faith.

We need to build upon the foundation of our faith and move up the ladder as we strive to implement these christian virtues.

Faith helps us to see what Christ desires and were we need to grow

2. Desire - we must truly want to get there

if we don’t desire to get there we will never put for the maximum strenuous effort it will take to get there.

3. Change - we must make whatever sacrifice is needed to get there

diligence - provide at your own expense

How diligent is your walk with God?

How much strenuous effort are you putting in to you walk with God really?

What are you sacrificing?

Faith Involves:
