Introduction:
The Kingdom of God is all around us.
Luke 17:20 ESV
Being asked by the Pharisees when the kingdom of God would come, he answered them, “The kingdom of God is not coming in ways that can be observed,
Bible Lesson:
To be a Kingdom Builder you must:

Become a Citizen of the Kingdom ()

A citizen is born into the country.

Hebrews 11:13 ESV
These all died in faith, not having received the things promised, but having seen them and greeted them from afar, and having acknowledged that they were strangers and exiles on the earth.
Heb 11:13
By faith we are born into the kingdom of God
A Kingdom Builder is now a citizen of the everlasting kingdom

A citizen of heaven renounces citizenship in the world.

Hebrews 11:14–15 ESV
For people who speak thus make it clear that they are seeking a homeland. If they had been thinking of that land from which they had gone out, they would have had opportunity to return.
Hebrews 11:14–16 ESV
For people who speak thus make it clear that they are seeking a homeland. If they had been thinking of that land from which they had gone out, they would have had opportunity to return. But as it is, they desire a better country, that is, a heavenly one. Therefore God is not ashamed to be called their God, for he has prepared for them a city.
Hebrews 11:14 ESV
For people who speak thus make it clear that they are seeking a homeland.
Hebrews 11:14
A Kingdom Builder is consumed by the heavenly Kingdom
God has prepared for us a heavenly city.
We have an everlasting dwelling place with God.
We, as christians are all citizens of the same Kingdom.

Become a Student of the Kingdom ()

Colossians 3:1–2 ESV
If then you have been raised with Christ, seek the things that are above, where Christ is, seated at the right hand of God. Set your minds on things that are above, not on things that are on earth.

Become a Student of the Kingdom (Col 3:1-11)

Colossians 3:1 ESV
If then you have been raised with Christ, seek the things that are above, where Christ is, seated at the right hand of God.

Kingdom Builders are consumed with the Kingdom of God

We are focused on Christ and our relationship with him.
We are more concerned with spiritual things than physical things.

Kingdom Builders are conformed to the Kingdom of God

Colossians 3:3–4 ESV
For you have died, and your life is hidden with Christ in God. When Christ who is your life appears, then you also will appear with him in glory.
Col 3:3
We have been buried with Christ and raised to new life in him.
We must put to death our earthly desires.
Colossians 3:5 ESV
Put to death therefore what is earthly in you: sexual immorality, impurity, passion, evil desire, and covetousness, which is idolatry.
Col 3:5
Colossians 3:7–9 ESV
In these you too once walked, when you were living in them. But now you must put them all away: anger, wrath, malice, slander, and obscene talk from your mouth. Do not lie to one another, seeing that you have put off the old self with its practices
Colossians 3:8 ESV
But now you must put them all away: anger, wrath, malice, slander, and obscene talk from your mouth.
Col 3:7
We learn to live in the new life of Christ
Colossians 3:10–11 ESV
and have put on the new self, which is being renewed in knowledge after the image of its creator. Here there is not Greek and Jew, circumcised and uncircumcised, barbarian, Scythian, slave, free; but Christ is all, and in all.
Col 3:

Become an Ambassador of the Kingdom (; )

2 Corinthians 5:17 ESV
Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away; behold, the new has come.
2 Cor 5:71

Kingdom Builders build bridges back to God.

2 Corinthians 5:18–19 ESV
All this is from God, who through Christ reconciled us to himself and gave us the ministry of reconciliation; that is, in Christ God was reconciling the world to himself, not counting their trespasses against them, and entrusting to us the message of reconciliation.
2 Cor 5:
Christ is the bridge that forgives the world and brings them back to God.
We are the messengers that share this good news with the world.

Kingdom Builders promote the blessing of the kingdom.

2 Corinthians 5:20 ESV
Therefore, we are ambassadors for Christ, God making his appeal through us. We implore you on behalf of Christ, be reconciled to God.
2 Cor 5:20
We promote the kingdom with our lifestyle.
2 Corinthians 4:1–2 ESV
Therefore, having this ministry by the mercy of God, we do not lose heart. But we have renounced disgraceful, underhanded ways. We refuse to practice cunning or to tamper with God’s word, but by the open statement of the truth we would commend ourselves to everyone’s conscience in the sight of God.
2 Cor 4:
We remove the blindfold so people can see Jesus.
2 Corinthians 4:3–4 ESV
And even if our gospel is veiled, it is veiled to those who are perishing. In their case the god of this world has blinded the minds of the unbelievers, to keep them from seeing the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God.
2 Cor 4:
We preach Jesus so that other can be born again.
2 Corinthians 4:5–6 ESV
For what we proclaim is not ourselves, but Jesus Christ as Lord, with ourselves as your servants for Jesus’ sake. For God, who said, “Let light shine out of darkness,” has shone in our hearts to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ.
