statistics:
tonight about 40% of american children will go to sleep in homes which there fathers do not live.
the epidemic of fatherlessness is one of the most harmful issues in the maturation of men.
maturation: the process of becoming mature.
10 years ago a child could expect to grow up with his father. today a child can reasonably expect not to.
before they reach the age of 18, more tha half our nations children are likely to spend a least a significant portion of their childhood living apart from their fathers.
fatherlessness is the leading cause of declining child well being in our society, to social problems, from crime, to adolescent pregnancy to child sexual abuse to domestic violence against women. despite its scale and social consequences, fatherlessness is a problem that is frequently ignored and denied.
1: talk about God and jesus being the perfect father son example.

Jesus gave them this answer: “Very truly I tell you, the Son can do nothing by himself; he can do only what he sees his Father doing, because whatever the Father does the Son also does. For the Father loves the Son and shows him all he does. Yes, and he will show him even greater works than these, so that you will be amazed.

when a key piece of god intentional design was created for is missing a man will search for a replacement. drugs, gangs, worldy acts. all do the fatherlessness!
they develop habits, judge one anothers manhood and turn to various abuse all to cover up what is really missing. OUR FATHERS.
LOOK AT WHAT HAS CHANGED IN JUST 10 YEARS. IF MAN DOES NOT GET BACK TO GOD AND BEING THE FATHER GOD DESIGNED. IT WILL PUSH FATHERHOOD TO BORDERS OF DISINTEGRATION. meaning a deliberate killing of a large group of people.
MAN HODD DEVELOPMENT:
Folly is bound up in the heart of a child,

god is the perfect father and because of Jesus there is hope!
conclusion:
because jesus new God as his father, he knew exactly what his life and mission were about. conversely, without the fatherhood of God driving our manhood, we become mad scientist as we destructively experiment with those in our charge. but because of Jesus there is hope.
