Are you safe?
The in word at the moment is safe, do you feel secure?
Do you have safe friends?

Safe is the opposite of Harm and our society is having a severe reaction to harm and wishes to reduce as much of it as it can!
Insurers wish us to extinguish all Risk of Harm.
Are your finances secure?
Are your belongings secure?
Is your future secure?
Have you eliminated risk in your life?
Are you sure?
When you consider yourself to be secure you become ‘sure of yourself’ and your confidence as an individual increases.
But what happens when the things that you where sure about are no longer cerrtain, the market crashes, property prices plumet , your partner runs of with another person, what do I do then?
Psalm 62
For the director of music.
For Jeduthun.
A psalm of David.
1 Truly my soul finds rest in God;
my salvation comes from him.
2 Truly he is my rock and my salvation;
he is my fortress, I will never be shaken.
3 How long will you assault me?
Would all of you throw me down—
this leaning wall, this tottering fence?
4 Surely they intend to topple me
from my lofty place;
they take delight in lies.
With their mouths they bless,
but in their hearts they curse.

5 Yes, my soul, find rest in God;
my hope comes from him.
6 Truly he is my rock and my salvation;
he is my fortress, I will not be shaken.
7 My salvation and my honor depend on God;
he is my mighty rock, my refuge.
8 Trust in him at all times, you people;
pour out your hearts to him,
for God is our refuge.
9 Surely the lowborn are but a breath,
the highborn are but a lie.
If weighed on a balance, they are nothing;
together they are only a breath.
10 Do not trust in extortion
or put vain hope in stolen goods;
though your riches increase,
do not set your heart on them.
11 One thing God has spoken,
two things I have heard:
“Power belongs to you, God,
12 and with you, Lord, is unfailing love”;
and, “You reward everyone
according to what they have done.”
What rocks your confidence?
When your confidence gets shaken, something about your trust in God is exposed.
Does gossip shake you?
Trust God that he will give you favour with the right people when you need it!

What ever you place your trust in will be where your hope rests!
If you trust your financial future to The pokies your always hoping for that miraculous pay day at the RSL, you tell stories of past wins and how others have benefitted but this hope is very unsafe
When God speaks to you what does he say?
,
Will you trust him if he is a powerless God?
Probably not!
Will you trust him if you think he doesn’t love you?
Most definately not!
You have to come to a decision where you will trust God that he has the power to accomplish his will with your life and secondly you have to trust that he loves you more than you even love your self so he will do the right thing by you!
Your Hope will return with your ability to speak faith!
psalm
God is not finished with you yet he is only just beginning, eternity is a long time!
