1 John Read Through
John testifies to their eye witnessing Jesus, the word of life.
Walking in the light.
If we confess our sins . . .
John writing so we will not sin. But if we do . . . he is the propitiation for our sin.
4 If I say I know him but do not keep his commandments I am a liar.
5 If I keep his commandments, the love of God is truly perfected in me.
15 Do not the world or the things in the world.
16 For all that is in the world—the desires of the flesh and the desires of the eyes and pride of life—is not from the Father but is from the world. 17 And the world is passing away along with its desires, but whoever does the will of God abides forever.
18 Children, it is the last hour, and as you have heard that antichrist is coming, so now many antichrists have come. Therefore we know that it is the last hour.
Children of God
28 And now, little children, abide in him, so that when he appears we may have confidence and not shrink from him in shame at his coming. 29 If you know that he is righteous, you may be sure that everyone who practices righteousness has been born of him.
