The Resurrection
It is Easter Sunday.
The day we celebrate the day that Jesus was risen from the dead.
More than Easter Eggs, and bunny rabbits.
But you can’t talk about the resurrection with out talking about the crucifixion.

These Jews in Egypt held a belief that God was who He said he was and would do what he said he would do.
That belief required some action.
It didn’t matter how well they had worshiped God or how bad they had failed in the past.
It didn’t matter that they were God’s chosen people.
It didn’t matter who their Father and Mother were.
It didn’t matter how much they had helped the poor.
It didn’t even matter that they said that they believed God.
What mattered at that very moment was did they apply the blood?

It doesn’t matter if your parents were Christians, It doesn’t matter that you’ve gone to church your whole life.

It doesn’t matter what you say you believe.
What will matter on the day of Judgement is have you applied the blood?

I neither have the authority nor the inclination to judge weather someone has been saved.
Saint’s and Sinners have a patch that says, “Only God can Judge.”
When it comes to someones salvation, I agree completely.
But rest assured God Will Judge.
Weigh the good vs. the Bad.
The real question will be have your accepted Christ.

See it is the application of the blood that saves us from judgement, but on the other side of the blood brings deliverance.
For the Jews in Egypt it was the to the promised land.
Which was a picture of what we receive through Christ which is eternal life.
We celebrate easter because through the cross, we have forgiveness of sin, and through the resurrection we have eternal life.
