Jesus and The Tomb

CIT: The ladies met an angel that told them that Jesus has risen. They left to tell others.
CIS: Death couldn’t keep Jesus down.
SO: Kid will understand that nothing is more powerful than God.
SM - Who is the strongest in this room? What if you had to wrestle this guy? How strong is God?
We – don’t want to be thought of as weak…just because I am short doesn’t mean I am a weakling. Right?
ILL. - Breaking board video
T.S. - Was Jesus not strong enough to bet all the people that put him on the cross?
NIVThe next day the great crowd that had come for the festival heard that Jesus was on his way to Jerusalem. They took palm branches and went out to meet him, shouting, “Hosanna!” “Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord!” “Blessed is the king of Israel!” Jesus found a young donkey and sat on it, as it is written: “Do not be afraid, Daughter Zion; see, your king is coming, seated on a donkey’s colt.” At first his disciples did not understand all this. Only after Jesus was glorified did they realize that these things had been written about him and that these things had been done to him. Now the crowd that was with him when he called Lazarus from the tomb and raised him from the dead continued to spread the word. Many people, because they had heard that he had performed this sign, went out to meet him. So the Pharisees said to one another, “See, this is getting us nowhere. Look how the whole world has gone after him!”
Bible -
Matthew 28:8–10 NIV
So the women hurried away from the tomb, afraid yet filled with joy, and ran to tell his disciples. Suddenly Jesus met them. “Greetings,” he said. They came to him, clasped his feet and worshiped him. Then Jesus said to them, “Do not be afraid. Go and tell my brothers to go to Galilee; there they will see me.”
You – need to remember each day that God is all powerful and any thing you face he can take care of when you put him first. In fear, joy, sadness, hurt and anger always trust God.
You
We – are loved by Jesus. That is why He went to the cross because it was the only way that we could one day be in the best place ever (Heaven) We share Jesus because he has changed our lives and we know he is all mighty and powerful.
PRAY - Thank you God for sending your son and thank you Jesus for defeating dieth for me.
