Men Day Scriptural Text: ;

To know who you are Christ you must have an understanding of your greatest at creation. is foundational for this.
To answer this question correctly you must ask, “who was I before?”

at creation ()

In verse 26, God announces His intention to make man.
Man made in the image of God
Male-female equality
Man and woman are equal in that they bear God’s image equally
Male headship
In the partnership of the two spiritually equal human beings(man and woman)
the man bears the primary responsible to lead the partnership in a God-glorifying direction
Man’s special calling under God()
man is the crown of creation
we came from God
we bear a resemblance to God
we are male and female
God spoke His blessing over man ()
teaches the paradoxical truth of male-female equality and male headship

and after creation (, ; )

In Abandon his headship role
(NKJV)
23for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God,
(NKJV)
1And you He made alive, who were dead in trespasses and sins,
2in which you once walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit who now works in the sons of disobedience,
3among whom also we all once conducted ourselves in the lusts of our flesh, fulfilling the desires of the flesh and of the mind, and were by nature children of wrath, just as the others.
4But God, who is rich in mercy, because of His great love with which He loved us,
5even when we were dead in trespasses, made us alive together with Christ (by grace you have been saved),
6and raised us up together, and made us sit together in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus,
7that in the ages to come He might show the exceeding riches of His grace in His kindness toward us in Christ Jesus.
8For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God,
9not of works, lest anyone should boast.
10For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them.

therefore, God’s plan of salvation (; ; )

(NKJV)
6just as David also describes the blessedness of the man to whom God imputes righteousness apart from works:
7“Blessed are those whose lawless deeds are forgiven, And whose sins are covered;
8Blessed is the man to whom the Lord shall not impute sin.”
(NKJV)
1Therefore, having been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ,
(NKJV)
1What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin that grace may abound?

the new creation( )

(NKJV)

Therefore separate from unclean things (; )

17Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new.

Therefore separate from unclean things (; )

(NKJV)
1I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service.
2And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.
(NKJV)
13I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.
