Each of us judges whether people will get to heaven based on how they look and how they act. We think we have the answers figured out, and we know where we judge ourselves too. Over and over God demonstrates that the place where we stand does not matter. Our life can be a mess, full of bad choices. The important part is the direction we are heading. If we turn our eyes to Jesus and orient our life toward him, He accepts us.
