O Lord…We come this morning and acknowledge Your everlasting kindness, in which You lavished on us when the Radiance of heaven came to rescue us through the gospel.
We who were the lost.
We were those whom You called sheep without a Shepherd!
You’ve called us out of the darkness of our sin and called us into the streams of forgiveness and enter in to the refreshing protection that You have graciously supplied in Christ.
Lord, You are the Everliving God of glory, who’s will it is that You might save sinners through Your Son Jesus Christ.
May you take our witness of Him and fill all those conversations with Your Word and with Your Spirit.
That our friends and neighbors might know the power of His forgiveness and the hope of His resurrection, who lives and reigns with You.
O Lord, being moved with compassion for the hurting, we pray that You would reach out Your hand and cause those crippled in sin to run to meet You.
Lord that You might cause those dead in their sin to breath in new life in Christ!
Lord, that through Your church, cause us to see behind eyes of sorrow, help us to share in other peoples tears.
Help us to hear the sighs of the weary and let Your children draw near unto You Lord!
And the dead breathed again;
You saw behind the eyes of sorrow
And shared in our tears,
Heard the sigh of the weary,
Let the children draw near.
Lord God, shed upon us (we ask) Your boundless love, and Your fathomless grace.
O Lord, You have shown us such kindness and compassion, as the God of compassion!
Help us to live our lives as an offering of praise, as we show to the world Your compassion.
Help us to sing afresh of Your grace, as we are reminded of the glorious reality of those thorns of oppression and the wounds of disgrace that our sins have caused You.
Assuredly Lord, You have borne our suffering and carried our grief
We remember that You asked for a pardon for those who nailed You to the tree, and that You showed grace to the thief.
We stood beneath the cross of Calvary
And gazed on Your face
At the thorns of oppression
And the wounds of disgrace,
For surely You have borne our suffering
And carried our grief
As You pardoned the scoffer
And showed grace to the thief.
How beautiful the feet that carry this gospel of peace.
Lord help us to be the voice of hope and healing with the mercy of Christ.
Now Lord
