Moving people to God isn’t about proving to others people that your belief system and value system are better; that your religion is superior to theirs.
This is about arguments and apologetics.
We are called to verbalize the good news.
The good news is about events that happened and will happen in history.
It is necessary that we can verbalize this.
We are called to share.
The lost cannot connect the dots.
They will come to their on conclusion.
We don’t believe that my belief system is better.
It is not even neccesary to answer all their question.
Peter and John saw this neccesity?
They where willing to give their livees.
What power?
The power of Jesus!
When we try to move people to God we get in theological debates.
It is about an event that happened.
The message of salvation is not intuitive.
Our natural conclusion is that if we have more good than bad… Our God is not asking us to die for Him.
He died for us.
The ones we love will never get this!
Jesus lived, Jesus died and Jesus rose again!

Paul was saying this before the Bible was ever put together.
For the first 300 years the debate centered on an event, not a book.
