CIT: Paul wants to make sure that he does what he teaches
CIS: We can say one thing but do something totally different.
SO: Kids will understand that you have to do what you say.
Intro: Animal game...
SM - Have you ever misunderstood the directions? Have you ever just not followed the directions? When someone tells you this how you do it but then does something different, how does that make you feel?
We – might know someone that says one thing but then never does it themselves. Our game we new the right animal but know one would say it.
ILL. - The Russians were not able to compete in the 2018 Pyeongchangin winter olympics because they cheated in the 2014 Sochi Winter Olympics and 2016 Rio Olympics. Cheating is for losers!
T.S. - Paul says he doesn’t want to be a loser...

1 Corinthians 9:26–27 NIV

You – I am not saying go home and bet yourself up! As you learn more about Jesus make sure it is something you make a part of your life. There are to many people that say they are Christians but they are lying to themselves and others. Will you be disqualified from the prize God wants to give you.
NIV41 So Pharaoh said to Joseph, “I hereby put you in charge of the whole land of Egypt.” 42 Then Pharaoh took his signet ring from his finger and put it on Joseph’s finger. He dressed him in robes of fine linen and put a gold chain around his neck. 43 He had him ride in a chariot as his second-in-command, and people shouted before him, “Make way!” Thus he put him in charge of the whole land of EgyptYou – will face setbacks, let me tell you, you will have hard times. bullies, people you thought were friends, mistakes you have made. This life as much as I would like to tell you, but it will not be filled with rainbows and unicorns. The promise because the Bible tells us we will have the greatest reward at the end. We – face hard times, Jesus! We fall down, Jesus! You don’t know the right answer, Jesus! We learn that in every time of life to go to Jesus. The world will not feel as bad or hard. This is how everyone will know you are a follower of Jesus.PRAY - Lord, in the hard times make me stronger for the next move!
We – are to be different than what the world looks like. As you tell your friends about Jesus let the way you live at home, at school be a loud voice of the things you say.
