Was Jesus the King of the Jews?
The Magi say so...
Nathanael said so...
Almost all of Israel said so...
And God says so through the revelation that He gave to John that He is not only the King of the Jews, but He is the King of all creation...
The Messianic prophecies all revolved around a coming King that will reign over the entire earth and all other kingdoms will submit to Him and His kingdom.
But the chief priests were concerned with their status...
And Pilate was also not willing to lose his status and place to another king.

They were not willing to sacrifice their place in this temporary world that we live in order to submit to the King of Eternity.
Truth -
Truth - I am a King and I am the King of the next world, the one you will pass into when you leave this one.
That is the truth.
How are you going to live in light of that truth.
I am the truth.
