What is this “feast”
This is not talking about food
Spiritual food-psychological food-soul food
What does this feast consist of?
What does your enemy (satan) want to feed you....? (listen in your head and you will find out)
That you are unworthy
That you are unlovable
That you are a failure and will not succeed
We often try to fight these feelings by human effort
Working really hard because that will make God like me
Be exceptional at our jobs because if we are a success we are good and achieved something
Instead, we should be feasting on God’s table and what he is giving us
When we are convicted of sin..............
know we can be forgiven and restored
When we are feeling weak and unable to accomplish anything.......................
He can give strength and a way
When we are afraid about our future....................
ingest his promises
When we are disliking ourselves and hating ourselves.................
that we are loved and of worth.
We need to AGREE WITH GOD
This will be a choice....not a feeling
This will take faith and defiance.....it is not automatic
This man had no proof that what Jesus said would happen
He chose to believe what Jesus said…and started walking towards his miracle.
51 While he was still on the way, his servants met him with the news that his boy was living.52
When he inquired as to the time when his son got better, they said to him, “Yesterday, at one in the afternoon, the fever left him.”
53 Then the father realized that this was the exact time at which Jesus had said to him, “Your son will live.”
This man had been walking for over a full day before he got word that his son had been healed.
How long have you been walking in agreement with God about something?
