Our Confidence and Prayer
When we are completely honest and transparent with each other, we ask,
“When will God right the wrongs that have been done?”
“When will justice be done?”
Most of us have asked those questions.
We are not alone.
King David also wrestled with those questions.
His psalms confessed his longing for wrongs to be righted and justice to be done.
is but one example.
Ps 109:
Believers and unbelievers both long for justice.
We expect and understand that.
What most do not expect and do not understand about the perceived too long a delay in resolving wrongs and punishing those who have done wrong/sinned in reality serves two purposes:
For sinners there is more time to recognize their sin and repent.
- Believers
For believers there is more time for the transforming power of God to work in their lives for His glory.
