If you bypass the counterfeit, the real reward will come.

Would you rather have someone pray for you once in public that you know about, or often and consistently in secret not knowing?
“And when you are praying, do not use meaningless repetition as the Gentiles do, for they suppose that they will be heard for their many words.

Every argument has been about either the reward of men or the reward of God.

If Jesus is only talking about Money, then the below he is somewhat contradicting these verses.

Rick Hendrick - 1997 convicted of mail fraud in connections with payouts to Honda Excecs to receive more than his alloted cars. Ordered to stay away from his racing team. 2000 pardoned by Bill Clinton.
