"How many points to get into Heaven?"
A man dies and goes to heaven. St. Peter meets him at the Pearly Gates and says, "Here's how it works. You need 100 points to make it into heaven. You tell me all the good things you've done, and I give you a certain number of points for each item, depending on how good it was. When you reach 100 points, you get in."
"Okay," the man says, "I was married to the same woman for 50 years and never cheated on her, and loved her deep in my heart."
"That's wonderful," says St.Peter, "that's worth two points!"
"Only two points?" the man says. "Well, I attended church all my life and supported its ministry with my tithes and service."
"Terrific!" says St.Peter. "That's certainly worth a point."
"One point!?!! I started a soup kitchen in my city and also worked in a shelter for homeless veterans."
"Fantastic, that's good for two more points," St.Peter says.
"Two points!?!!" Exasperated, the man cries, "At this rate, the only way I'll get into heaven is by the grace of God."
'Bingo! 100 points ! Come on in!'

There’s nothing on earth that is more fulfilling than serving God
It must be everyone’s priority to serve the Lord
It’s because that is what is right

Serving God is truly a blessing
It does not just honor the Lord, it also pleases Him
It does not just please Him, it also blesses us

God is not unjust; he will not forget your work and the love you have shown him as you have helped his people and continue to help them.
Here are some of the blessings we get from serving God

Blessings we get from serving God

Serving helps us to be more like Jesus

Matthew 20:28 NIV
just as the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many.”
Matthew 25:40 NIV
“The King will reply, ‘Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.’

Experience Miracles

If you want to experience miracles, serve the Lord
John 2:7–10 NIV
Jesus said to the servants, “Fill the jars with water”; so they filled them to the brim. Then he told them, “Now draw some out and take it to the master of the banquet.” They did so, and the master of the banquet tasted the water that had been turned into wine. He did not realize where it had come from, though the servants who had drawn the water knew. Then he called the bridegroom aside and said, “Everyone brings out the choice wine first and then the cheaper wine after the guests have had too much to drink; but you have saved the best till now.”

Renews Our Strength Everyday

The more strength you give, the more strength you receive
It’s like working ou our muscles
Whatever we give to God, He multiplies them
Isaiah 40:31 NIV
but those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.

Volunteering Helps us Discover our Spiritual Gifts

1 Peter 4:10 NLT

Experience Joy and Peace that comes from Obedience

Ecclesiastes 3:12–13 NIV
I know that there is nothing better for people than to be happy and to do good while they live. That each of them may eat and drink, and find satisfaction in all their toil—this is the gift of God.
Ecclesiastes 3;12-13
