Study of Sin and Salvation

What is sin?
-Sin is doing anything contrary to God’s law.
For all have sinned
One man sin entered into the world
Our best works are filthy rags (Is 64:6)
Unregenerate man can only sin
We are slaves to sin
We are dead in sin
We are hopeless
But God was rich in mercy
What is salvation
Salvation is the gospel
Holy God in love became perfect man to bear our blame, on the cross he took our sin, by His death I live again.
We all sinned, but God forgives our sins and throws it away
One man sin entered the world-dooming the rest of mankind for eternity. Jesus lived perfect life that fixed all of that
After Jesus lived a perfect life and died for us, God now sees us as He sees Jesus. We are accepted into the beloved.
We are no longer dead in sins, or slaves to sin ()
