At the devotion on 30th Jan, we saw that Christ + nothing = everything and that devotion ended with the reading of .
This verse was used to illustrate what this formula meant.
In a nutshell, that was what the formula meant.
Tonight, we shall look into what GOD meant in .
I hope unpack this verse and see its practical implication to our live in Christ on this earth.
What does it look like when a Christian has everything because he has nothing BUT Christ.
What does it look like when a Christian has everything because he has nothing BUT Christ.
Galatians 2:20 KJV 1900
I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.

1 I am crucified with Christ.

Paul must have learnt this from the LORD Jesus Christ because these were his exactly thoughts in .
John 12:24–25 KJV 1900
Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except a corn of wheat fall into the ground and die, it abideth alone: but if it die, it bringeth forth much fruit. He that loveth his life shall lose it; and he that hateth his life in this world shall keep it unto life eternal.
In Christ and Christ alone, our lives starts with death.
And it is not an ordinary death
It is to be crucified with Christ.
What does it mean to be crucified with Christ?
Can we die the same way Jesus died - on the cross? What did Paul meant that we be crucified with Christ?

2 Nevertheless I live;

3 Yet not I, BUT Christ liveth in me:

4 And the life which I now live in the flesh

5 I live by faith of the Son of GOD,

6 who loved me, and gave himself for me.

and gave himself for me.
