Do you believe that Jesus wants joy, peace and hope for your life?

Jesus desires real joy and peace and hope for your life!
Peace I leave with you; my peace I give to you. Not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your hearts be troubled, neither let them be afraid.
These things I have spoken to you, that my joy may be in you, and that your joy may be full.
I have said these things to you, that in me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation. But take heart; I have overcome the world.”
But now I am coming to you, and these things I speak in the world, that they may have my joy fulfilled in themselves.
We can only find real joy, peace and hope IN JESUS!
John 17:
May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, so that by the power of the Holy Spirit you may abound in hope.
God wants to fill us with ALL joy and peace so that we have OVERFLOWING HOPE!
WE ALL WANT AND NEED JOY, PEACE AND HOPE IN LIFE!

We work so hard to have these things!
We want peace and joy because life is a struggle.
We want peace and joy because of how chaotic our world and lives can be.
The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy. I came that they may have life and have it abundantly.

For the kingdom of God is not a matter of eating and drinking but of righteousness and peace and joy in the Holy Spirit.
JESUS CAME SO THAT WE COULD HAVE THESE THINGS IN THE KINGDOM.
Romans
reveals two truths about how we can have real peace, joy and hope. 1. How God gives these to us. 2. What part we play in receiving them.
BEING FILLED WITH JOY AND PEACE TO OVERFLOWING WITH HOPE COMES FROM THE HOLY SPIRIT.

God will fill you with ALL joy and peace. But how does He do it?
“By the power of the Holy Spirit.”
For the kingdom of God is not a matter of eating and drinking but of righteousness and peace and joy in the Holy Spirit.
While we should be the most joy and hope filled people alive we struggle with fear and anxiety.

What part do we play in having the joy, peace and hope Christ offers?

We are given the gift of the Holy Spirit who is at work in our lives. But...
So much of our submission to, dependence on and even belief in His ability hinges on our trust in Him!
Rejoice in the Lord always; again I will say, rejoice. Let your reasonableness be known to everyone. The Lord is at hand; do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.

Let us not allow our desires and minds to work against what God through the Holy Spirit is trying to do in our hearts. ()
Our minds and hearts are key places that peace and joy must take root. ()
