Trip to Damascus - 150 miles, 5 to 6 days travel
- Saul approves of the execution

“Anyone who kills you will think that he is offering a service to God” (John 16:2)

Saul saw Jesus, how does he go on to persecute the church? He has seen and knows that indeed Jesus has risen.

v. 15 – chosen (Not speaking of election but of office)
v.15 – Gentiles – Epistles repeatedly say he was the apostle to the gentiles, Kings and people of Israel - King Agrippa (), Steps of the Roman barracks in Jerusalem speak to the Jews
v. 16 – endure hardships ( Struggle)
Stress – Persecutor of the church to persecuted
