Where It Began
The origin of religion is debatable in some degrees, especially if you take into the context of the word, definition and use.
My belief is that our relationship or bond with God began in the garden.
We see earlier interaction between God and Adam in naming the animals and other instances.
But here we see and can understand God coming to visit like a friend, filling a bond.
This also shows, even though many miss this, how religion is not want God wants.
He wants a relationship.
For that we reason we are called the “sons of God”.
Scripture doesn’t show us as mindless robots but as an image of God.
