Prayer in the Early Church

mark 1:35

Mark 1:35 ESV
And rising very early in the morning, while it was still dark, he departed and went out to a desolate place, and there he prayed.

Jesus made time to talk to God

Jesus knew that there was : A time to teach and a time to pray.
Acts 28:8 ESV
It happened that the father of Publius lay sick with fever and dysentery. And Paul visited him and prayed, and putting his hands on him, healed him.
Then listen what happens next…
Acts 28:9 ESV
And when this had taken place, the rest of the people on the island who had diseases also came and were cured.
Sound like Jesus' encounter?
Why can't we pray like that?
Is that kind of prayer only for the apostles?

What should it look like today?
