Ephesians 2:11–13 ESV
Therefore remember that at one time you Gentiles in the flesh, called “the uncircumcision” by what is called the circumcision, which is made in the flesh by hands— remember that you were at that time separated from Christ, alienated from the commonwealth of Israel and strangers to the covenants of promise, having no hope and without God in the world. But now in Christ Jesus you who once were far off have been brought near by the blood of Christ.

27 But God chose what is foolish in the world to shame the wise; God chose what is weak in the world to shame the strong; 28 God chose what is low and despised in the world, even things that are not, to bring to nothing things that are, 29 so that no human being might boast in the presence of God. 30

-Missionaries serving in other cultures
-Only begin to receive cultural rights when they become connected to the people in the culture
-Christ Being Rejected-creation does not recognize the creator
b. The blood of Christ declares us children of God

17 Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away; behold, the new has come. 18

b. The blood of Christ has the power to redefine each of us
