Walking In Love Through Submission

Last week we discussed how walking in love means to walk in??? Obedience

The first two verses of set us up to understand this as what Christ did as “a fragrant offering and sacrifice to God.”

At the end of the section last week we saw a phrase that brings us directly into tonight’s lesson. Verse 21 reads:

Ephesians 5:21 ESV

submitting to one another out of reverence for Christ.

So we see that the whole concept of walking in love, or in obedience, leads to submission. So what is submission? What do you think that word means?

Do you think in today’s culture submission is seen as a good thing or a bad thing? Why?
