When the Israelites first entered the ‘Promise Land’, God wanted to show them that it wasn’t by their own strength that would conquer the land, but by God’s Power alone…
The Jericho Prayer and the Battle Cry (RUA)!
Picture
This brought the presence of God which brought victory!
Joshua 6:20 NLT
When the people heard the sound of the rams’ horns, they shouted as loud as they could. Suddenly, the walls of Jericho collapsed, and the Israelites charged straight into the town and captured it.
What is God anyways and His presence?
God is Spirit! So He moves through His Spirit
1 John 5:6–7 NSFLB
This is He who came by water and blood—Jesus Christ; not only by water, but by water and blood. And it is the Spirit who bears witness, because the Spirit is truth. For there are three that bear witness in heaven: the Father, the Word, and the Holy Spirit; and these three are one.
We want you to have VICTORY in every area of your life! But we must surrender to God’s Power, His Spirit!
Leviticus 9:24 NSFLB
and fire came out from before the Lord and consumed the burnt offering and the fat on the altar. When all the people saw it, they shouted and fell on their faces.
Tonight is a night of Expecting!
Expecting The Spirit to come and fill us from the inside out, to transform us and others around us.
The Spirit is for everyone and everyone will get a chance to experience His power/awesomeness, if you want it!!
Acts 2:17–18 NLT
‘In the last days,’ God says, ‘I will pour out my Spirit upon all people. Your sons and daughters will prophesy. Your young men will see visions, and your old men will dream dreams. In those days I will pour out my Spirit even on my servants—men and women alike— and they will prophesy.

He starts from the inside…

We are to imitate Jesus, to have His attitude… Have you ever met a grumpy Christian?

Does it mean they don’t have the joy of the Lord in them? Certainly not!!! If you want to know the character of Jesus then you can read about the fruit of the Spirit!
Galatians 5:22–23 NASB95
But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control; against such things there is no law.
Eat some fruit
We need to know what we have in us so we can actually use it. And the Spirit will help us to live out all these wonderful qualities… Take for example LOVE… what is true love?
1 Corinthians 13:4–8 NLT
Love is patient and kind. Love is not jealous or boastful or proud or rude. It does not demand its own way. It is not irritable, and it keeps no record of being wronged. It does not rejoice about injustice but rejoices whenever the truth wins out. Love never gives up, never loses faith, is always hopeful, and endures through every circumstance. Prophecy and speaking in unknown languages and special knowledge will become useless. But love will last forever!
Now put your name where the word love is…
How can we live up to this? It’s the Spirit in us that brings it out. He gives us the strength and the opportunities
Share the fruit with the audience

Then he works on the outside of us…

If you want to know the ministry of Jesus then you can read about the gifts of the Spirit…
1 Corinthians 12:4-11
The Word of Knowledge, The Word of Wisdom, The Gift of Prophecy, The Gift of Faith, The Gifts of Healing, The Working of Miracles, The Discerning of Spirits, Different Kinds of Tongues, The Interpretation of Tongues
All of these gifts are in us and waiting to be used! You have them all! From speaking in tongues to prophesying (words of encouragement), to healing people! We just have to eagerly desire them and put ourselves in position to use them!
Tonight is the NIGHT!! From the inside out…
Expect (PUNCH night)!!!, Receiving the gift of tongues, Jesus Culture (healing)
Luke 4:18 NLT
“The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, for he has anointed me to bring Good News to the poor. He has sent me to proclaim that captives will be released, that the blind will see, that the oppressed will be set free,
