Blessed is he who reads and those who hear the words of this prophecy, and keep those things which are written in it; for the time is near.

John’s Purpose
He knew the terrors contained in the visions
He knew the importance of the book concerning Christ
He knew the importance of the prophecies for the believers, especially who will live at the time of the fulfilment of these prophecies.

Why you are blessed

Because the time is near!
These are instructions concerning the nearness of the time!
Instructions are important if you want to be on time, any time, all the time.
The Importance of time

John was referring to the time intimated by the mighty angel of and the seventh trumpeting angel of
The mighty angel swore that “there should be delay no longer”. In other words, It won’t take very long for the “chronos” to expire soon.
When? In the days of the sounding of the “seventh angel” (the trumpeting angel), the mystery of God would be finished.
When the seventh angel sounded, he announced the termination of earthly kingdoms and the ushering of the kingdom of God.
says the “time” has come for the wrath of God, the dead to be judged, the saints and prophets to be rewarded, and the destruction of those who destroy the earth.
This time marks the consummation of the mystery of God.
This time marks the corporeal return of Christ according to prophecy.
