THE JUDGEMENT SEAT OF CHRIST

1. When and where will The Judgement Seat of Christ take place?

Sometime after the Rapture, after we have recieved our New Glorified Body, and during the 7 Year Tribulation Period.
This event will take place in Heaven, so that’s why we will get our New Glorified Bodies first.
What is the Judgement Seat of Christ?
You can’t be admitted to heaven with a corruptible body.

a. It’s where all believers will stand and give an account for their stewardship.

b. The Judgement Seat of Christ is the giving of rewards for those who earned them.

i. Comes from the Greek word “Bema” which giving rewards.
ii. It is where our works will be tried by fire.

3. Who Will Be Involved in The Judgement Seat of Christ?

a. The Lord Jesus Christ, He will be our Judge.

4. What Will The Lord Jesus Christ Not Be Concerned With At This Judgement?

a. He is not concerned about your salvation.
i. Because if your at The Judgement Seat of Christ, you would have to be saved.

5. What Will The Lord Jesus Christ Be Concern With At The Judgement Seat Of Christ?

a. He will be concern with how the Christian has conducted themselves concerning stewardship.

b. He will be concerned with the reason (motives) for the work done.
i. Did we do it for our glory or God’s glory.
ii. If we do anything, that’s not for the glory of God, it is rejected.

6. What Are The Results Of The Judgement Seat Of Christ?

a. Some will suffer loss of their rewards.

c. There are at-least five (5) rewards mentioned.
The Incorruptible Crown.
Given to those who overcome selfish and sinful desires of the old nature.

2. The Crown of Rejoicing.
b. Given to those who witness and win souls.

3. The Crown of Life.
c. Given to those who overcome in the times of trials, suffering, and temptations.

4. The Crown of Righteousness.
d. Given to those who love the doctrine of the Rapture.

8 Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day: and not to me only, but unto all them also that love his appearing.

5. The Crown of Glory.
e. Given to faithful preachers and teachers.

2 Feed the flock of God which is among you, taking the oversight thereof, not by constraint, but willingly; not for filthy lucre, but of a ready mind; 3 Neither as being lords over God’s heritage, but being ensamples to the flock. 4 And when the chief Shepherd shall appear, ye shall receive a crown of glory that fadeth not away.

i. Whatever these crowns are or whatever they represent, they will be used to glorify God.

7. Knowing This Future And What Jesus Will Judge Us On:
Should motivate us to be Faithful.
Should motivate us to Love One Another.
Should motivate us to Forgiving One Another.
Should motivate us to Witness for Him.
