B. PEACE DEFINED According to Strong’s Complete Concordance of the Bible, one Hebrew word for prosperity is shalom, which is the word for peace.
Shalom is also “completeness, contentment, wholeness, and soundness and safety”
Prosperity is quietness, ease, abundance, and peace.
If we are in financial distress, can’t find or keep a job, have recurring difficulties in our relationships, and are not able to realize our dreams, we are not yet at peace.
That doesn't mean trouble won't come, but you can stand up and tell it to go.
Even when worry, fear, or anxiety stop by, you can show them the door.
C. The whole world is looking for peace.
But there is only one way to peace, and that is through Jesus.

Blessed are the peacemakers,

You create peace where ever you bring Christ in you.
You can change a room because the Prince of Peace lives in you.
We need peace before we can deliver it.
JESUS IN THE BOAT HAD PEACE THEN COMMANDED PEACE.
HE SPOKE KINGDOM
For the kingdom of God is not a matter of eating and drinking, but of righteousness, peace and joy in the Holy Spirit,
When you are in the kingdom, you have shalom.

E. Do you want to love life and see good days?
Speak peace and blessing over your neighbors.
For, “Whoever would love life and see good days must keep their tongue from evil and their lips from deceitful speech.
They must turn from evil and do good; they must seek peace and pursue it.
You can have a good life.
REFRAIN YOUR TONGUE FROM EVIL = Don't gossip, fight, lie, or argue.
SAY WHAT YOU MEAN.
Don't walk in confusion or stress.
Seek peace and pursue it.

To bless means —“to invoke divine favor on, to bestow happiness, prosperity or good things of all kinds;
If it is possible, as far as it depends on you, live at peace with everyone.
Peacemakers create peace and also make room for other peacemakers in their life.
People can't drive you crazy if you don't give them the keys.
If you give them the keys, you’re giving them permission to take you on a ride.
Here’s a rule I have for myself, I'll jump into the roller coaster if we're getting off but I'm not just going along for the ride.
AS MUCH AS DEPENDS ON ME MEANS IT DOESN’T COMPLETELY DEPEND ON ME.
You'll always have a hard time walking in peace if you're making room for crazy makers.
Examples - a guy with some poor business ethics and even poorer people skills used to come to the church.
He’d pressure people for referrals, push them for work and was rude when he didn’t get his way...I knew it was a problem I needed to take care of when I saw people going the other way when they saw him.
I talked with him, he got upset and left the church.
The next week people remarked about the peace they felt at service...
a pastor suspected a lady in the church didn’t like him much but observed she worked well with other women leaders.
He suspected she had problems with men.
Then one day he asks her if he did anything to offend her.
She says no but asks him to be more like four other people, which is fine but they were all women.
You ever have one of those moments where you almost say something but you don’t.
That was one of those moments.
I wanted to point out they were all women but I realized.
I wasn’t winning this one.
I did say I’ll try and then made a mental note not to ask her to do anything long term in the church she won’t be here long.
How do I keep my mind stayed on Him?

How do I keep my mind stayed on Him?
Because he trusteth in thee.
Discipline my mind to focus on God and His covenant promises.
What happens when you spend time focusing on a problem?
It gets bigger.
In the same way, you can have a greater sense of His presence, promise and provision.
