Esther is Queen

remember Esther has had her life stolen
she is in the kings harem waiting to have her night with the king
and the king will decide whether or not to accept her as queen
Esther 2:15–16 LEB
When the turn came near for Esther daughter of Abihail the uncle of Mordecai, who had taken her as a daughter, to go to the king, she did not ask anything except what Hegai the eunuch of the king who was in charge of the women, advised. And Esther carried favor in the eyes of everyone that saw her. Esther was taken to King Ahasuerus, to his palace, in the tenth month that is Tebeth in the seventh year of his reign.
Esther
so here is the moment what will happen?
Esther 2:17–18 LEB
And the king loved Esther more than all the women, and she won his favor and loyalty more than all the virgins, so he put a royal crown on her head and made her queen instead of Vashti. And the king gave a great banquet, Esther’s banquet, for all his officials and servants. And he granted a tax amnesty to the provinces and he gave gifts with royal liberality.
because of his love the king gave

Love

we often times look at love as what can I get out of this relationship
Love in the Bible is more than an emotion
it is something we do/ something we give
1 Corinthians 13:4–7 LEB
Love is patient, love is kind, love is not jealous, it does not boast, it does not become conceited, it does not behave dishonorably, it is not selfish, it does not become angry, it does not keep a record of wrongs, it does not rejoice at unrighteousness, but rejoices with the truth, bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.
1 cor 13 4-7
let me give you an example of love
John 3:16 LEB
For in this way God loved the world, so that he gave his one and only Son, in order that everyone who believes in him will not perish, but will have eternal life.
jn 3 1
God the father sent God the son to the earth as a baby
when we are in a relationship with some one we say
that baby grew to manhood to die a subtitutionary death so that we can be with God in Heaven for eternity
before Jesus died Jesus said
I love you
I hope that what you are saying
I want to learn as much as i can about you and only do what makes you happy
Jesus said
John 15:13 LEB
No one has greater love than this: that someone lay down his life for his friends.
The love that Jesus has for us is called agape love
unconditional love
and that is exactly what Jesus did for us lay down his life
you are loved so much that the creator of the universe gave His life for you
no matter who you are what you have done
unlike Esther who went through 1 year of beauty treatment
and there was only one winner
the only way we can come to Jesus is to come
with our worthlessness and warts exposed
Jesus did this so we can have eternal live with him
Ephesians 2:8–9 LEB
For by grace you are saved through faith, and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God; it is not from works, so that no one can boast.
so
Jesus did this so we can have eternal live with him
we receive His love through faith
acknowledging that we are not worthy
we have sinned against Him
in fact we are born sinner
believing that Jesus took our punishment
