Mathew 25:14-30
The parable of the talents
The man on the long journey symbolizes Jesus and the length delay that will precede his second coming.
The talents represent financial blessings, gifts, priveledges, and opportunities that Jesus has entrusted in his disciples.
God has given all of us “talents”
God has given all of us “purpose”
I believe that each of us have a mission on this planet that God has placed inside of us and that if we stay connected with God and the holy spirit those things will be revealed and it will be easy to follow
Through looking at the parable one thing we can get is that it is a privaledge to be used by God
The thief's purpose is to steal and kill and destroy.
My purpose is to give them a rich and satisfying life.
The devil comes to steal kill and destroy and reap havic within christian lives,
In our day and age of christianity the devil loves to sowe lies into our minds.
Some of the lies consist of, work on yourself your not good enough, you sinned there you arent worth to serve God, work more on yourself because the whole point in being a christian is just getting into heaven.
Your sins are forgiven past present and future.
The devil tries to get you focused on yourself and say salvation is the only reason being christian but that is such a lie!!
“He has saved us and called us to a holy life—not because of anything we have done but because of his own purpose and grace” ().
Salvation is only the beginning for Christians as we were saved to do good works in the name of Jesus.
The promise of eternity and living free from the bondage of sin is a wonderful gift of salvation.
These promised blessings free us up to be about God’s business every day.
We need to start our mornings with a prayer asking God to reveal to us His purposes for that day
You will do greater things than Jesus through the holy spirit when he leaves
We are living in ACT 3 of the bible
Testimony of my Dad and Bill
In of how heaven will rejoice for just one sinner
Brian Barcelonas book the Jesus club of how he followed a single calling by God over his life and reslulted in so many being saved
No matter how big the calling God desires to save souls through you and make disciples through you
If you never see your fruit that doesnt matter
All that matters is that you are obedient to God
