Now that we are in a new year off and running we cant but help hear the urgency of our Pastors heart in the sermons he has been preaching.

I my self have had to examine my heart in prayer and ask my self what do I need to do to get in line w our Pastor and his vision for the church.

another new years resolution A to do list isn't enough.

It cant be business as usall it has to be something that is different, something that is relevant effective and , something that’s gonna keep us going on thru out the year.

We are in the 2018 and the #8 stands for new beginning.

so what that tells me that we have to have spiritual readiness IN THIS MINISTRY.

In the home they taught me to be ready in season and out of season.

The worship team is in charge of leading the charge!

Not by might nor by power but by the spirit says the lord.

4 Now this is why he did so: All those who came out of Egypt—all the men of military age—died in the wilderness on the way after leaving Egypt.

5 All the people that came out had been circumcised, but all the people born in the wilderness during the journey from Egypt had not.

6 The Israelites had moved about in the wilderness forty years until all the men who were of military age when they left Egypt had died, since they had not obeyed the LORD.

For the LORD had sworn to them that they would not see the land he had solemnly promised their ancestors to give us, a land flowing with milk and honey.

7 So he raised up their sons in their place, and these were the ones Joshua circumcised.

They were still uncircumcised because they had not been circumcised on the way.

8 And after the whole nation had been circumcised, they remained where they were in camp until they were healed.

9 Then the LORD said to Joshua, “Today I have rolled away the reproach of Egypt from you.”

So the place has been called Gilgal f to this day.

LETS PRAY:

This new generation underwent circumcision as a test of their loyalty to the Lord.

By following God’s directions, Joshua in effect disabled his whole army.

Because of their circumcision, God named the place Gilgal, meaning a rolling.

God explained that He had rolled away the disgrace of Egyptian bondage.

Circumcision had been abandoned during Israel’s journey in the wilderness because of there disobedience.

there could be many reasons why the children of israel abandoned there ceremonies while in the desert, we have to remember that the dessert journey was suppose to be a sort journey.

but because of there disobedience in other areas it took 40 yrs.

This new generation underwent (crossed over, enharate the land of milk and honey) was to be circumcision as a test of their loyalty to the Lord.

and how about us wheres our loyalty stand before the lord And are our heart ready to be circumcised, Maybe there are some areas in our lives that has to be a cutting away of praylesness, - tomarowness- spiritual procrastinator.

cut away some social media so you can read your word and be in tune with our Pastor message and the holly spirit.

we have had some power full messages, conference type messages, we have got to get into the messages when pastors preaches.

Yell for jesus like you yell at your kid.

For me it was turning off the TV.

smart stream, theirs no commercials.

you can watch a entire season with in a couple of hours.

Maybe for some its not any of thee above, maybe its just LIFE.

life is busyer than ever and its easy to stay busy in the church house!

but are we being effective.

Are we taking time out of our fellowship schedule to meet the new commer to our church let me tell you WORSHIP TEAM ,GOD is looking for a church of true worshipers that will worship him in spirit and in truth.

God is not looking for performers, performers don't move the hand of God.

BROKENNESS move the hand of GOD.

psalms 51;16 (MSG) David was a man after Gods own heart the bible says.

Going through the motions doesn’t please you,

a flawless performance is nothing to you.

I learned God-worship

when my pride was shattered.-

sometimes pride holds us back from lifting up hands.

Heart-shattered lives ready for love

I wonder how many MARTHAS we have here, BUSY BODY, HARD WORKERS, troubled about many things, How many know we can act trouble-less when our lives are being turned upside down “devil” but for many busy BODYS this is only place where they feel they can hide and be vulnerable.
