The Right Connection

Isaiah 58:1–2 KJV 1900
1 Cry aloud, spare not, Lift up thy voice like a trumpet, And shew my people their transgression, And the house of Jacob their sins. 2 Yet they seek me daily, And delight to know my ways, As a nation that did righteousness, And forsook not the ordinance of their God: They ask of me the ordinances of justice; They take delight in approaching to God.
Isaiah 58:2 KJV 1900
Yet they seek me daily, And delight to know my ways, As a nation that did righteousness, And forsook not the ordinance of their God: They ask of me the ordinances of justice; They take delight in approaching to God.

A Missions From the Lord

A Missions From the Lord
The Prophet Isaiah had been given a Mission from the Lord. It would not be easy because he would have to look beyond what he saw. The type of clarity he would need would only come from the Lord.
The Mission
++A Simple Mission
++An Unpopular Mission
++A Necessary Mission
Isaiah 58:1 KJV 1900
1 Cry aloud, spare not, Lift up thy voice like a trumpet, And shew my people their transgression, And the house of Jacob their sins.
In verse one he declares “Cry loud and spare not”, “Shout it aloud, do not hold back”. These words are a distant echo to modern Christianity, or is it Christianity at all.

13 Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ:
Ephesians 4:16 KJV 1900
16 From whom the whole body fitly joined together and compacted by that which every joint supplieth, according to the effectual working in the measure of every part, maketh increase of the body unto the edifying of itself in love.
Ephesians 4:15 KJV 1900
15 But speaking the truth in love, may grow up into him in all things, which is the head, even Christ:

Movements require a unity of action that we hold as of vital importance. We seem to gravitate toward movements. One paper noted 10 movements that have shaped America.

What we see in when we look at Christianity today is seemingly just another movement. We seem to gravitate toward movements. A Christian movement activate us for causes that seem righteous just enough to keep us from genuine holiness.
