When God begins a journey, He always has an end in mind.
2 Sam
This journey for Israel was a long ordeal stretching over many generations to get them to this point.
This was the first time that they were really settled in their own place.
Abraham’s journey with God was unclear.
He was a nomad living in tents.
The command is clear as mud.
“Go and I will show.”

Moses’ journey with God had an end.
They were still nomads moving around and living out of tents.
They had a specific place to go now, The promised land.
The command was simple “Possess and I will bless.”
Their lack of faith caused them to wonder around.
If you are unwilling to begin the journey of faith you will never see the end that God has planned for you.
If you don’t begin the journey on faith, you will never see the end that God has planned for you.
Joshua’s journey with God was the fight of the flesh against the Spirit.
Faith will always defeat the enemies in the land
The command was simple “Be courageous and conquer.”
There was no time to settle in until the lane was secure.
Israel’s journey with God was always in a tent.

So, Reliant’s journey started out the same.
Transient: Moving from place to place.
All the time ask God where he wanted us to be.
Temporary: Not sure where our home would be.
When God establishes a place for his people he builds a legacy for His glory.

Just when you think you have done something for the Lord you find it was his plan all along.
This would be the place that God would establish His people.
This would be the place that God blessed all nations of the world.
This is the City of David, Bethlehem, where Jesus was born.
God has established Reliant in this place.
It was not the place I chose.
It was the place that God has led us too.
I believe God is making a legacy for His glory right here.
From this place we will effect the world with gospel message of Jesus.
God always establishes a Legacy through his people.
When we focus on the Lord’s house He promises to take care of our house.
When we build a legacy for the Lord’s house he take care of our house.
Jesus said it this way:

A journey of hardship and pain
But God has given us a place and has planted us in this community of Dallas, GA.
Our dwelling in tents is over and now it’s time to build a legacy for God’s glory.
