Tithing or Gift Days
“Bring the full amount of your tithes to the Temple, so that there will be plenty of food there.
Put me to the test and you will see that I will open the windows of heaven and pour out on you in abundance all kinds of good things” (, GNB).
Many cults are thriving today.
It is said that the Mormons are the fastest-growing “church” in the world.
New Mormon temples are being built everywhere.
Where do these people get the necessary money in times of financial recession?
They tithe!
Should Christians, possessing the true gospel, give less than those who propagate a false religion?
Should believers give less to the Lord than they give to a waiter in a restaurant or a taxicab driver as a tip or gratuity?
There are two misconceptions about tithing.
Some say that tithing is an Old Testament sanction which Christians are no longer required to follow.
Others say that tithing is too much of a hardship for modern Christians.
