38. FAITHFULNESS AND THE CHRISTIAN

I. IN YOUR PLACE IN LIVING

A. Living a devoted life—. The only way to live a devoted life is to put Christ first. First above family, plans, friends, and work.

B. Living a dedicated life—, . Living a life of sacrifice. Allowing Him to control you daily.

C. Living a determined life—. All sufferings and persecution could not make Paul give up Christ.

II. IN YOUR PLACE IN LOVING

A. A divine love—. When you love Him with all your heart, soul, and mind, you will love others. You will love even your enemies. This love should grow daily.

B. A domestic love—. Husbands loving their wives, and wives loving their husbands. This will make your marriage divorce-proof.

C. A decisive love—. A love that causes you to make the right decisions concerning the Lord and your daily life.

III. IN YOUR PLACE IN LEADING

A. We lead by our walk. The word walk in Scripture refers to how we live. Note —walking in the Spirit.

B. We lead by our worship—. We worship in spirit (faith) and truth (God’s Word).

C. We lead by our witness—. Peter and John witnessed by their lives. They didn’t have to tell people about Christ—their lives showed it.

God needs more good men who will be leaders! There is a price to pay in being a leader.

IV. IN YOUR PLACE IN LEARNING

A. Faith—. Faith in God regardless of the circumstances. This faith comes by hearing and knowing God’s Word (). Learn to trust Him by having more faith.

B. Faithfulness—. Faithful until death in all phases of life. Learn daily to be faithful. Once you learn it, it will be hard to lose.

C. Fellowship—. Learning the meaning of walking day by day with the Lord in fellowship. As we walk with Him, His blood keeps cleansing us from sin.

D. Fervency—. Learning to put your heart into what you do! No place for indifference! Indifference, laziness, and the “don’t care attitude” should have no place in the life of a Christian.
