Have you ever given up trying to make things better?

We can choose to make right choices in our lives.

It’s Easy to just drift along in life not making decisions... which is actually making bad decisions.

It’s more difficult to work towards being the Best we can be.

Making Right Decisions will bring Blessings into Your Life. Proverbs 3:5–10 (NLT)

You Receive DIRECTION from the Lord. (Prov 3:5-6)

Proverbs 3:5–6 NLT
Trust in the Lord with all your heart; do not depend on your own understanding. Seek his will in all you do, and he will show you which path to take.

You Receive PROTECTION and HEALTH from the Lord. (Proverbs 3:7-8)

Proverbs 3:7–8 NLT
Don’t be impressed with your own wisdom. Instead, fear the Lord and turn away from evil. Then you will have healing for your body and strength for your bones.

You will Receive PROVISION from the Lord. (Prov 9-10; Luke 6:38)

Proverbs 3:9–10 NLT
Honor the Lord with your wealth and with the best part of everything you produce. Then he will fill your barns with grain, and your vats will overflow with good wine.
Luke 6:38 NLT
Give, and you will receive. Your gift will return to you in full—pressed down, shaken together to make room for more, running over, and poured into your lap. The amount you give will determine the amount you get back.”

When we are faced with a problem, we can IGNORE IT or we can SOLVE IT.

With God’s Help we can live an OVERCOMING & VICTORIOUS LIFE.

Ephesians 4:22–24 NIV
You were taught, with regard to your former way of life, to put off your old self, which is being corrupted by its deceitful desires; to be made new in the attitude of your minds; and to put on the new self, created to be like God in true righteousness and holiness.
Philippians 4:13 NLT
For I can do everything through Christ, who gives me strength.
James 1:2–4 NLT
Dear brothers and sisters, when troubles of any kind come your way, consider it an opportunity for great joy. For you know that when your faith is tested, your endurance has a chance to grow. So let it grow, for when your endurance is fully developed, you will be perfect and complete, needing nothing.

WE CAN LIVE AN OVERCOMING AND VICTORIOUS LIFE BY MAKING RIGHT DECISIONS.

WE CAN MAKE RIGHT DECISIONS BY FOLLOWING THESE STEPS TO MAKING DECISIONS.

STEP 1: STOP

Proverbs 27:12 NLT
A prudent person foresees danger and takes precautions. The simpleton goes blindly on and suffers the consequences.

STEP 2: LOOK

Philippians 3:8 NLT
Yes, everything else is worthless when compared with the infinite value of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord. For his sake I have discarded everything else, counting it all as garbage, so that I could gain Christ

STEP 3: LISTEN

We need to listen to Good Advice from others.

When asking for advice, we need to DESCRIBE you decision and ask what they would do and why?

Who are some of the people we should seek advice from?

ASK GOD for Help in Making your choices.

James 1:5 TEV
But if any of you lack wisdom, you should pray to God, who will give it to you; because God gives generously and graciously to all.
Proverbs 19:20 TEV
If you listen to advice and are willing to learn, one day you will be wise.

STEP 4: GO

Proverbs 3:13–14 NLT
Joyful is the person who finds wisdom, the one who gains understanding. For wisdom is more profitable than silver, and her wages are better than gold.

TO TAKE THESE STEPS IN MAKING GOOD DECISIONS, WE NEED GOD’S HELP!

Ask God for help and He will help you

Colossians 2:6–7 NLT
And now, just as you accepted Christ Jesus as your Lord, you must continue to follow him. Let your roots grow down into him, and let your lives be built on him. Then your faith will grow strong in the truth you were taught, and you will overflow with thankfulness.
1 Corinthians 10:12–13 NLT
If you think you are standing strong, be careful not to fall. The temptations in your life are no different from what others experience. And God is faithful. He will not allow the temptation to be more than you can stand. When you are tempted, he will show you a way out so that you can endure.
Philippians 4:13 NLT
For I can do everything through Christ, who gives me strength.
